We believe that such a big step in one’s life, like choosing a new name and possibly social transition deserves a dignified ceremony. Humanists honor human diversity and beauty of individual uniqueness, while also recognizing the great social value of ceremonies. So select a place, bring your close ones, and let’s celebrate your new name!

What does a “new name ceremony” look like? That’s up to you! Humanism is about authentic and inclusive approach, not about following traditional ceremonial dogma. For example, our first ceremony had a cake (a trans egg cake!)
